The Franklin Special School District accepts out-of-district students on a tuition basis as program capacity is available. The tuition rates are listed below and provide an exceptional value for a high-quality education. In fact, the FSSD per pupil expenditure (2022 TN Report Card) is #1 in the State at $17,643 compared to the state average of $10,581.
The per-pupil expenditure measure reflects the total expenditures by the district divided by the number of students enrolled in the district. The FSSD is #1 in the state in teacher-student ratio as well as support services personnel per student.
