FSSD Seeks Positive Peer Role Models for Preschool Classes

FSSD Seeks Positive Peer Role Models for Preschool Classes

The Franklin Special School District invites preschoolers between four and five years old to enroll in our Preschool Positive Peer Role Model Program for the 2023-2024 school year. The FSSD school-based preschool program meets the needs of three- to five-year-old children who have developmental delays as well as positive peer role models without delays.

We are currently accepting enrollment applications for typically developing preschool positive peer role models to be placed in each class for the 2023-2024 school year. Eligible students must be 4 years old by August 15, 2023, ineligible for kindergarten, and reside in or have a parent employed in the Franklin Special School District.

Tuition for the program is $3000, with a sliding fee scale for qualifying families. The inclusion model provides a wide range of learning opportunities and the least restrictive environment that is both stimulating and challenging for the children in these classes. The school day is 6 hours, 8:00am-2:00pm Monday through Friday beginning in August.
