Welcome to Johnson School!

Johnson Elementary is a place of learning for all students. Children are loved and cared for by every person in the building. Johnson is not only a school, but a family.

In case of inclement weather, please check the local news stations for school closing information. Please check for Franklin Special School District, not Williamson County Schools or Franklin County. They will announce FSSD under city schools, not county schools.

Johnson Elementary was established in 1958 as an African American School named after Dr. Charles C. Johnson. The school has undergone several additions and a renovation in 2000. The administration, faculty, and staff at Johnson Elementary is committed to teaching in a safe and caring learning environment. Johnson Elementary has only had four principals since its opening in 1958.

The current principal of Johnson School is Jan Cochran. The assistant principal is Tosha Robinson .
