Welcome to Johnson School! Johnson Elementary is a place of learning for all students. Children are loved and cared for by every person in the building. Johnson is not only a school, but a family. Thanksgiving Lunch will be served at Johnson School on Thursday, November 2oth during your child's lunch time. Please buy tickets ahead of time. Thanksgiving Break will be November 24th-28th.

Johnson Elementary was established in 1958 as an African American School named after Dr. Charles C. Johnson. The school has undergone several additions and a renovation in 2000. The administration, faculty, and staff at Johnson Elementary is committed to teaching in a safe and caring learning environment. Johnson Elementary has only had four principals since its opening in 1958.

The current principal of Johnson School is Jan Cochran. The assistant principal is Tosha Robinson .
