Franklin Elementary School has a rich heritage of serving the diverse student population of the southwest areas of our community.  We strive to fulfill the district vision to provide "Excellence in Teaching and Learning for All" by differentiating and individualizing instruction to meet the wide variety of learning needs that exist in each classroom. We have dynamic teaching and support staff and outstanding facilities that make it possible to fulfill our mission statement:

"Franklin Elementary School - a community of learners striving for excellence and success."

We are confident that a strong collaboration between school and home will result in optimum learning opportunities for our students. The FES faculty, staff and administrative team are here to serve you. Please contact our offices if we can provide further assistance.

Franklin Elementary Technology Grant 2012-2014

FES was the recipient of a two-year Tennessee Department of Education Focus Grant, providing the school with up to $400,000 of resources and materials, including state of the art technology throughout the school.  With this grant, FES purchased 102 iPads and 20 Promethean boards to enhance engagement and educational opportunities in the classroom.  The teachers received professional development using the iPads and Promethean boards for instruction in the classroom and our teachers and students are very excited about the new technology!  Along with technology, the grant has provided for an after-school focused tutoring program and the opportunity for our teachers to receive professional development for current best practices.
