Moore Elementary is located in Franklin, TN, and is a proud member of the Franklin Special School District. The school is named for Mr. R.N. Moore, who owned the land where the building now stands. Moore Elementary opened during the fall of 1990. The pre-kindergarten through fourth-grade school has been fully accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since its first evaluation in 1991.

Moore Elementary is special for many reasons. Parent volunteers work alongside a dedicated staff to provide a quality education for its students. Working through Advisory Council and School Improvement Committees, the teachers are encouraged to try new techniques, advance technology, and improve on traditional strategies. The beautiful award-winning design of the building provides the perfect environment for showcasing efforts to teach the "total child".

8:30-3:30

Beginning May 24, the school office will be open
8:00-3:30.
We will be closed the week of July 5-9.
